As of OpenSim 3.2, we added the capacity to push updated to the OpenSim application to our users. When an update becomes available, you will see a pop-up window at the bottom right of your screen.

You can also check for updates manually by selecting Tools > Module Manager from the toolbar.

To change the settings for update notifications, select Tools > Module Manager from the top menu. Then choose the panel Settings. From this panel, you can configure the auto-update to check for updates at time periods ranging from "Never" to "Every Startup".

We also regularly generate new releases of OpenSim that you can download from the OpenSim Simtk Project page. You make keep old versions of OpenSim, in addition to new releases.
