OpenSim Workshop Bologna 2016

OpenSim experts Friedl De Groote (KU Leuven), Ilse Jonkers (KU Leuven), Luca Modenese (University of Sheffield), Massimo Sartori (University Medical Center Goettingen), Giordano Valente (Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute) and Mariska Wesseling (KU Leuven), in collaboration with the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute of Bologna (Italy), are organizing an OpenSim Workshop in Bologna, Italy.

Goals

The workshop aims to provide basic knowledge of movement biomechanics and an overview of the comprehensive set of OpenSim GUI and scripting tools. Participants will learn to realize typical modeling workflows and perform advanced musculoskeletal simulations of movement.

Audience

The event is intended for beginner and intermediate users who are familiar with the available OpenSim tutorials, but want to gain deeper insights into the main software tools and apply them directly to their own data and projects, with on-site support from experienced researchers.

Workshop Location and Dates

The workshop will be held at the Research Center - Aula 2 - of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute, via di Barbiano 1/10, 40136 Bologna (Italy), from the 3rd to the 5th of February 2016.

Directions to the location are available here.
