The Human Movement Biomechanics Research Group along with external OpenSim fellows and experts will hold an OpenSim workshop at KU Leuven (6th-8th November 2018).
Registration for the workshop is free. Please register by filling this form before October 20.
Audience
This workshop targets OpenSim beginners and users who are familiar with the tutorials but want to gain more insight in the data processing workflow in OpenSim and want support from experienced OpenSim users to import their own motion capture data in OpenSim.
Workshop location
The course is organized on the campus of the Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Science, Tervuursevest 101, 3001 Leuven, Belgium. The workshop will be located in building Sporthal de Nayer and in room GBDN 01.01 (AULA).
Leuven is located 15 min by train from Brussels airport. Note that two airports serve the Brussels area: the main airport is located in Brussels-Zaventem (BRU), the other airport in Brussels-Charleroi (CRL) is 46 km south of Brussels!
If taking the train from Brussels, make sure you are going to "Leuven" (in French, "Louvain") and not "New Leuven" (in French, "Louvain-la-Neuve").
See this map for the location of the workshop (star), course dinner on Tuesday evening, and various lunch options.
Accommodations
There are accommodations in the Leuven area that have KU Leuven discounts. You only need to mention the contract number when booking. The updated list with contract number is here.
What you need to bring

The OpenSim Workshop dinner will be held on Tuesday at 7 pm. The restaurant is De Waaiberg, which is walking distance from campus. It is an open buffet and cost for the dinner is 50€.
