In this lecture we will go through two approaches to estimate muscle-tendon lengths. We will discuss the advantage and disadvantage of each approach. Please, find the lecture slides from the link below:


In the hands-on part of the lecture we will:

1) learn how to modify anatomical coordinate systems and joint degrees-of-freedom in an OpenSim model using notepad++

2) learn how to create kinematic .mot files from the output of the clinical gait model, i.e. .c3d files

3) plot muscle-tendon length and compare the outcome between different models
