In this workshop, advanced users of OpenSim, OpenSim Moco, OpenSense, Sit2Stand, and OpenCap will get supervised, hands-on assistance with problems that they bring to the workshop. On the first day, participants will introduce their projects. The second and third days will be devoted to working on problems participants bring to the workshop. Participants have the opportunity to work in small breakout groups with our staff on their research problems.

Pre-workshop Zoom Meeting

Please carefully read the instructions on the first tab of the Sign-Up Sheet. We will use Zoom for the kick-off Webinar.

Project Slides

Participants present a goal slide on the first day and an accomplishment slide on the last. The workshop slides are intended to help the workshop staff and your fellow workshop attendees, understand your work, ask questions, and give feedback and support where possible. Specific instructions on what content to prepare, number slides, and length of time will be provided soon.

Location, Travel, and Coffee

The workshop location is at Stanford University, Paul Brest Hall, East Room. Coffee and tea will be provided.

Agenda

The workshop starts at 9am on Monday, March 11, 2024 and runs daily 9am-5pm through Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

We provide a Draft Agenda that may be updated periodically over the next few weeks.

Software and Computers

We expect participants to use their own laptops. Power strips and wireless internet access will be provided.

Awards

After the final presentations, participants will vote on a few awards, including Best Scientific Achievement, Best Technical Advancement, and others.
