Future outlook: EMG-informed modelling

Future outlook: EMG-informed modelling

In this lecture we will look at potential limitations and pitfalls with conventional inverse dynamics pipelines, specifically in the context of estimation of muscle-tendon mechanics.

We will then introduce the concept of forward dynamics via electromyography-driven musculoskeletal simulations. We will look at applications and tools that can be use for you to employ this technique in your work. Lecture slides will be provided shortly.
